5:59 P.M. 6 lbs. 10 ozs. Hooay! We are so happy to finally meet our little fella. Jen is feeling ... well ... beat. And hoping she can eat before too, too long! : ) Paton will be having surgery tomorrow morning at 7:30 to close the hole in his spine. So ... an early morning. There is some pretty bad "clubbing" of his left leg, but we really don't know any effects yet. The opening in his back is quite large, so plastic surgeons will be on hand tomorrow as well if they are needed. God's been good. We look forward to some sleep.
What a handsome little guy! So happy he's finally here! We are praying for all of you! Will definitely be praying in the a.m. Love you guys!

Welcome Little One! Congratulations John and Jenn! I hope you are both able to grab some sleep even as I write this! 7:30 is just after my lunch time here - so we'll remember to be in prayer for Paton's surgery. Thanks for posting his picture. So precious! BIIIIIG hugs,

He's adorable! Congratulations to both of you. :) Paton's probably in surgery now, and we're praying for Paton, for the surgeons, and for both of you.
ReplyDeletePaton is hopefully out of surgery as I write this. I just got a phone call from one of my Facebook friends from Ohio who also has spina bifida. The first thing she said was, Hi has Paton been born yet?! There's alot of people all over the country praying for a good outcome for all of you. Take care and God bless.
