Paton is getting around these days -- at least at the therapy center -- with the help of a "dynamic stander." It seems like he really enjoys it, though he does get a little frustrated at times. The plan is for him to use this while he develops the skills to stand upright for extended periods. It should help him acclimate to getting around in an upright position. Then later he'll transition to a "gait trainer" to help him try to take some steps upright.

ReplyDeleteI talked to Jen's dad last week and he told me there were video clips on the blog I might want to see. I'm sitting here now with tears of joy in my eyes as I watch Paton. God has certainly brought Paton a long way in his short time on Earth. I look forward to seeing how God continues to bless the little fella. Take care and God bless you all.
What a blessing to have the perivaliage to be counted faithful enough to care for one with such need. Then to read the blog on top just fills my heart with wonder on how the Lord is so gracious to all of us no matter what the cercumstances are. He's a sweety..
